Leonardo Marangoni DJ

Born in Southern Italy into a very difficult social context, Leonardo was fortunate enough to grow up in a family environment where good music was always in the air. Lucio Battisti and Mina were some of the musicians he listened to at home and on car trips.

As a child, he was captivated by the effect created by house music and strobe lights at a family party, which sparked his desire to try to become part of that magical world. Around the age of ten he began to organize the birthday parties of little friends, playing with “Musicassettes” the hits of the dance music ’90.

He and his friends started going to discos from a very young age, certainly the club that had the greatest impact was the “Casablanca” in Tropea.

In 2008 he moved to Milan, managing, despite the fierce competition, to get his records played in the clubs he had always dreamed of.

Leonardo believes that a good DJ shouldn’t stick to just one musical genre, but should adapt to the audience in front of them, creating the right vibe between the booth and the dance floor and focusing on one thing above all else: quality.
